-40, I cant imagine... We get a full 4 seasons here in Nashville, but the summers are the worst! 90+ degrees with the humidity in the 90s makes for an outdoor sauna experience a couple months a year. Thank GOD we have air conditioning! D

the winters here pretty much take up 1/2 the year...lol we usualy start october till at least april...we have been getting colder winters each year..-40 + gets damn cold...lol last winter our bobcat was burried in the snow no kidding all you could see was half the cab!

I'll definitely tell Mary u say hi. This has been too cool of a coinsedence. Of all the lakes in wisconsin, heck in all the world ur at sugar camp at a resort my Grandma and Uncle stay at. When we go to sugar camp in 5 days we go with my moms side of the family and family friends (who r pretty much family to us) and we take over that town (in a good way) we rent all the cabins (7) at Burr Valley Resort and we rent the 2 cabins at John and Mary's. look out for a video response. My best friend is Mary's cousin and we go up to visit every year in mid July. When I was a kid I thought everyone had a scale model of The Partheneon in thier city. It was the backside of the Grand Ole Opry house in the vid, the front is a bit better:) It was built in the early 70s and it shows in the decor, but its a decent venue to see a stage show or watch live music.

I dont know how the Casio is priced but the Aiptek was only $75! I may be able to live with the crappy picture quality if the video is better than I am working with now. Hmmm, if the price is comparable to a Casio Exilim, go with that. I REALLY REALLY love my Casio. The pictures are incredible and when I was taking pictures the day of Fort Negley, I realized that it adjusts colors just like as if it had a polarizing lens on it, making the blue such a beautiful contrast. LOVE my Casio. Oh wait, did I tell you I love my Casio? Yeah. And tell Bill I think he's a peach :)

Thanks B! I used almost every clip I shot that day, I was going for flowing textures and color. The music has been around for ages, its Kitaro (I found them in the mid 80's). Things may be looking up in the camera dept. The next generation of the "crap cam" I have was on clearance at Target the other night and Bill offered to buy it and let me pay him back when I can. I have been playing with it and am not sure if I am going to take it back or not, it takes crappy pics but great video in HD.

Daryl, I read your other comments. I'll probably never make a video that doesn't involve some editing. I just don't seem to be able to put all my thoughts together for a vlog, the way I would if we were all sitting around a conference table. I don't know why. It would have to be scripted before I could do it without editing.

I was so nervous to do it, I hoped that going all out would help me get over myself. It still has taken 6 months for me to feel semi-comfortable in front of the camera. One day soon I hope to be able to do a vlog and just put it up without editing out all the things I dont like. It was intended as a fun/learning exercise, not a painful one. There is no time limit on the submissions. :o) So, keep the video and upload it only if and when you think it's right.

Usually they either pull the entire vid, mute the sound or leave it up and place an ad to the side. None of those things happened. Maybe I am just too small time to even mess with.
