On September 5, 2008, the European Space Agency's Rosetta spacecraft flew by the asteroid 2867 Steins. Stein thus became the eighth asteroid system ever visited by a spacecraft. This video is a compilation of several pictures of the asteroid taken at various distances as Rosetta flies by the asteroid.
