itss not that bad of an iron smell at all , sorry i wasnt like used to an iron smell ever =D oh and my last hot tools lasted for six years ahh! but dont buy it bcuz its horrible for your hair. in between these 2 straighteners i had a conair tourmaline ceramic coated straightener that sucked, but it looked cool so i miss it lol

it doesnt for the most part. but putting any kind of heat is bad, but i get more damage from pulling my hair through a brush and blowdryer than i do with using this. but i dont reccommend it for rly curly hair. thats why if u want it rly straight u have to straighten it with a blowdryer first the nuse the straightener. thats just me lol

no my hair isnt greasy, i was talking about when you let the straightener heat up it would smell. and im fine with this straightener. i found out thats just what a new straightener does when it heats up, but once you use it for a while it doesnt smell anymore. even the sedu does that.

It doesnt look like an overall good straightner by the way.. I have had the infiniti conair straigtner for like a year and its the best ever.. It is REAL ceramic plates.. not "black" and you can touch above the specific line.. its way better than that one.. so dont go off on the infiniti when it is just about the price but 102934871293847 times better... and like "uuhhmmm" + 4123412 infiniti is better.
