Actually, all sin is against God. As the creator of all things, He has a right to tell us how He wants us to live. But His laws are for our good. Would you not rather to live by a neighbor that does not covet your things or your wife, because he desires to please God, or to live by the godless athiest that does not care to steal from you if he gets the chance? If God's laws were followed, we could all live at peace with one another. When God's laws are broken we have no peace with ourselves.

I am Catholic, but belive very little in the Catholic Church. I find it interesting how you belive in the Bible, as though its every word it truth. Lets take the Tenth Commandment for example...Exodus 20:17"Thy shall not covet your neighbor's house.Thy shall not covet your neighbor's wife, or his manservant or maidservant, or his ox or donkey..." It seems to me, that "your neighbor's wife" is listed among his belongings. So coveting his wife is a sin against the male neighbor, not his wife.
