i think its bowl that Brohm fell and Ryan got taken in the top 3... Brohm would have been top 3 but he stayed for his senior year, lost almost all of his offensive weapons, and got a new coaching staff and to bbnumber12allday, if stats mattered, colt brennan would have been first off the board buddy

The fact is you have no idea how calm or how well he reads defenses at the NFL level. So all you have to go by right now is college. And if you want to compare staying calm and reading defenses Leinart and Young were more then capable at that level. In fact, Ryan didn't possess their abilities at the college level.

How can you say that when he hasn't played a single down in the NFL yet. You're comparing VY and Leinart's lack of immediate success in the NFL to what Ryan's done in college. Staying calm under pressue? VY was one of the greatest clutch QBs ever in college. Hello... 05 Rosebowl??? And Matt Leinart was amazing at reading defenses in college he had a career 65% and he only threw 14ints his entire career there, half of Ryans career ints. "do not posses the same kind of abilities" BULLSHIT.

VY and Matt had waay better college carrers, but I truly believe Ryan has the tools to be a Peyton Manning-level QB in the NFL. VY and Leinart do not posses the same kind of abilities MR does, such as reading defenses or staying calm in pressured situations.

My personal opinion sorry but I wasnt impressed w/ BC or Matt Ryan this season. I have no idea how they got up to 2nd in the BCS or how Matt Ryan became so heavily touted when he was outperformed by other QBs like Tim Tebow and Dennis Dixon. Honestly if you place him in the 06 draft class he would've gone 2nd round at best. And if you placed him in the 05 draft class he would've been the 4th QB behind Jay Cutler. Case and point, I'm not impressed, i have my opinion you have yours.

And if his 19 INT's are a big deal then how ocme Josh Johnson wasnt the first QB off the board. That fucker had like 40 TDs and ONE pic. Also had a lot of Rushing TD's. But he went in the 5th round..to a team that already has 18378 other QB's

Just wait until he plays a goddamn game. YOU DONT FUCKING know how good or bad he is. David Carr, Ryan Leaf and Tim Couch were all very good college QB's but none of them did anything in the NFL. But everyone tought they would. Nobody would have thought Tom Brady and Tony Romo and even David Garrard would be in the positon they are.
