I thought that at first too, but I'm over it now :P when I heard about the macbook ujpdate happening on october 14, i thought that apple was going to bring the colours from the nano chromatic onto the macbooks. Thatwould have been awesome!

No problem. It's just that Apple choose the price for all of their products. Retailers don't really have much choice of lowering the price. But, Macs usually cost less in the longrun. With a PC, you'd usually want to pay for repairs, upgrades etc. So really, it works out cheaper.
