There is no contradiction. Genesis 1 talks about the 6 days of creation. Genesis 2 talks about what happened in the garden on day 6 only.

Hey O! The reason why we do anything harmful is because we're self centered, self absorbed - because 'when I hurt, it's way more important to me than when YOU hurt.' (the opposite of loving your neighbor as yourself). The underlying "sin" in genesis is that we choose to be our gods (we believe the universe revolves around our feelings and experiences)... That opens the door to rationalizing murder, adultery, as well as more common petty sins...

Kudos on the creativity....the shades and glasses.. you mentioned that we are self absorbed and selfish..how is that interpreted through sin? does one's sin describes our faults, selffishness..or did i misread that.
