Yes! I've been to a few games in the past few years @ the Linc & watching Dawkins pre-game ritual is amazing. He'll stand in the Endzone & get into the music playing,& he just goes Apeshit hyping up his teammates like you said. Motivation is never a problem when B-Dawk is around. Even though Arizona looked good beating the Falcons,Outside of those 2 all-world recievers-(Boldin & FitzGerald)I'm still not totally sold on them. I think Carolina will handle them just fine. Another thing that was overlooked on that Westbrook TD was the blocking of Kevin Curtis & DeSean Jackson. After Runyan & Herremans sprung Westbrook on the play,Curtis gave him 2 good blocks;& from the 30-yard line 2 the endzone Jackson kept up with Westbrook step-4-step while blocking 2 Vikings along the way. If we get a few plays like that,by this time next week we could be talking about our Birds getting ready 2 fly 2 Carolina for da NFC Championship game-(revenge for da '03 Championship game)

You're not alone on B-Dawk. AP got that 40 yard TD,then on da next drive after B-Dawk hit the hell out of him,AP wasn't the same da rest of da game. I loved during the Dallas game everytime the crowd sang "Fly Eagles Fly",da camera went rite 2 B-Dawk & he was singing along & dancing 2 it. We've been looking for a solid TE since Chad Lewis got injured making those ballsy catches in the NFC Championship game against the Falcons,& I think Celek is ready. I'd like 2 see Buckhalter more as well,he had 2 rushes for 27 yards in the 1st half,then he played FullBack-(Reid said because either Klecko or Eckel got hurt). I'm convinced that Reid will keep the playbook balanced because the Vikings had the #1 run defense in the NFL & I'll give it to Andy,he kept calling run plays. The run defense is paramount to winning this game because Brandon Jacobs didn't even play in the 2nd half in that game we won in week 14. The reaon why it was never made illegal before Avery did it is because no one had that much disrespect for someone and it was never an issue. I will laugh when this deal ends up working out for the best! I was excited when I heard we got Ibanez...who cares if he's 36? He's a much more consistent hitter than Burrell is, and he's a solid fielder. He hit 20+ home runs and 100+ RBIs in a Pitcher-friendly park in Seattle. Those numbers will automatically inflate, by virtue of playing in Citizen's Bank Park, with the likes of Rollins, Utley, and Howard. Rollins and Victorino are switch hitters and Werth is a righty so relax...

Using batting average, home runs, and RsBI is a terrible, terrible way to prove Ibanez is a good hitter. And defense... Pat Burrell is the third worst defensive LF in baseball. The Phillies just replaced him with the second worst, Raul Ibanez (per UZR at fangraphs). Raul Ibanez is a good hitter, but a defensive abomination and basically gives back all of the runs he produces. He is actually terribly overrated and basically an average player. And he's old. Feagin will probably be ready by the start of 2009, and Michigan currently has one of the best recruiting classes (including Tate Forcier, who is the type of QB RRod needs to run the spread offense). I wonder, though, who will be the runningback? I'm assuming McGuffie. Hopefully, Michigan can win this weekend (they're actually favored to beat Northwestern) and at least give OSU a good fight. i dont think it was good to get rid of trotter but kearse is hurt and old. mcnabb is pretty good but not as good as he was in like 03 or 04. sheldon put some good hits on players though. this is what i think lito should play safty and sheldon will be a backup

really, I like JJ...i guess it all comes down to opinion, but thats cool. As for Gagne, everyone reacts differently to a concussion. He just needs to rest and heal up for training camp in September and then he'll be fine. However, i do believe that the flyers may need to consider trading Gagne during the off season for a good pick and a solid puck moving defenseman or we could just trade him for picks and use the room to sign Carter, Prospal, and Umburger
