I have a black and white fender squire. they get out of tune after about 5 minutes of playing, but it's better than nothing, and it came with a nice quality amp.

i personally quite like them. i've been told by... 4 bassists that my bass is a nice one, 2 of them in bands that are doing quite well. it's really up to what you personally prefer =P

I hate Westfields, I have a b1000, ive had it for 10 years and its horrible, stings are raised to high off the neck, too much ringing from the strings, far too long, I could go on ...Horrible!!! Candy Apple Ibanez sr300 here I come!!!

yeah it's brill, so is my westfield les paul :P only problem with the bass is it's really heavy, which is why i rarely stand up for my videos of bass covers. thanks for the comment sdfsdf666

Mmm, a westfield? I've seen it around for quite cheap, but I can't find any proper reviews for it anywhere and my westfield strat sucks quite a lot. Is the bass good though?

good job. always remember to use your index finger with strings G and D and your middle finger for strings A and E. put your thumb on the pickup and i'd suggest having shorter nails so they won't get caught when playing :-)

thanks i have started putting my thumb on the pickup now and it is MUCH easier i'm far more comfortable with playing bass now =D i dont know how someone would think that they plucked with 1 finger lol =P i shall never stop!

not bad but just like the person before i suggest putting your thumb on the pickup and it lookes like you just need to get a lot more comfortable with plucking but its very good that your plucking with 2 fingers as a begginer you have no idea how many people make the mistake of plucking with one finger as a begginer and have to learn how to pluck with 2 later so just keep playing
