That's funny .. the Buster Keaton of Rock! I don't know how you get to be THAT! After watching Get Carter recently, about a chap from Newcastle, I decided Bryan Ferry was the Michael Caine of Rock 'N' Roll. Joe Perry's more like the Frank Capra of Rock 'N' Roll or something, he's very Italian-looking. Brad Whitford reminds me of Sissy Spacek's boyfriend in Carrie or something, I don't know about Buster Keaton.

Brad's an amazing guitarist. He always seemed like the orphan of the band but he really holds it down, great solos too. I think he is naturally shy but adapted himself to the limelight nicely. Joe is just more of an extravert/showman I think. Brad is likely just as good of a player.

I have to admit that I'm also a bit torn too because the times I had seen Aerosmith with their "classic" line up with Whitford and Perry that Whitford took the majority of the leads. That said The Joe Perry Project was a pretty rocking band but the Derek St. Holmes deal was pretty sad. Personally I think they need each other and serve as good foils for each other's playing styles - there's a real magic there.

actually i edited the video. if i was there when the footage was recorded(and i wish i was)i def would have miced the amp right and miced his voice seperatly, but i was working with what i got. Honestly was lucky to get what i got during the making of Honkin' on Bobo. on a side note.... i think the fact of whether he paid for it or not is irrelevant. He loves the amp. He loves and plays lots of amps, but if you think he made this video to get a free amp, your nutz :) heath

Actually, I am brad's son and I've played that specific amp multiple times. It sounds fucking amazing through the clean channel cranked, and he loves that amp. We play it all the time.
