Sorry I don't know the exactly deep meanings behind the lyrics. I think 'Station To Station' is the transition from Bowie's 'Young Americans' to 'Berlin Trilogy'(Low, "Heroes", Lodger). His voice is best between the two eras above. While he performed in his alter ego of Thin White Duke, some people think Bowie is Narcissism at this period cos he's so cool & beautiful as well.

Bowie's alter ego for that period is mysterious. It had to be something with his Station To Station record. I don't mean his strange commen about Hitler is correct.
