I prefered the older style of wushu also. I think these athletes pull off some harder moves but many of them don't seem to really feel the form as much as past artists and it has alot less traditional kung fu in it. I still think both are awesome though.

is it just me or does it seem like this is more of a dance rather then a fight. compared to the guys in the other videos, this one seems a bit too fluid. some parts even getting to the point of synchronization such as 0:23

How do you know what THIS is? Clearly it's a technique that's more about the way it looks than creating any illusion of a real fight. Not my thing, but pretty to look at. I'm a dancer and a stage combatant, so I know there's definitely a difference. This is clearly more about form and art than about realism. There's a place for that.
