there is a bad ass exploit you can do with codebreakers or action replay max but, i have codebreakers and i am kinda stumpt my model is scph7701 i think its newer and it wont read my thumb drive. It lights up but, when code breakers tries to load it flikers every 4 or 8 seconds and code breakers kinda stutters and never gets past the first screen

Showing how to mod the PS2 without even showing how to swap the disc is pointless imo. So for people who are not really sure what you did, they basically saw you put tape on three places to play an original game. They might wonder why mod your PS2 to play an original game? why not just play it. Next time you should be more specific about why you're doing such thing.

Nice video, though technically isn't it hard modding since you are opening up the system? Softmodding is done with software or any means of not physically modding the system? Also next time a less shaky camera would help. I bought my PS2 used and it has the Earth on the cover like yours, what model number is yours since the layouts are differnet on other models. Mine is 75001

I do this from the my ps2 slim and tape the sensors it's working great just the spaw is not because i want to change the real Final fantasy 10 dvd to the Budokai Tenkaichi 3 and this is still not work Please help me with video if you can. Thanks.

yea this definitely isnt a softmod like the guy said down there that involves software you use this is just blocking the sensors and you can only swap ps1 games without swap magic 3

Yeah a similar method and couldn't get the swap to work with a ps2 game which is fine.THE UNFINE THING IS now my store bought copy of Resident Evil 4 won't read! every time I try to play RE4 it tells me to insert a PS2 disk (even after i undid the modding) You wouldn't happen to know WTF is up with that or how to get RE4 to work would you? Cause to be honest RE4 is like one of the only games I still play alot on my PS2. Msg me back if you can figure it out

Soft Mod mean Software Modification, or, Using a software exploit to change the function. This is just a mod. You tape a few sensors.... that's it.
