I Will have to disagree.. The statement is already there... All Karl had to do Was to determine what Gabrelle "Coco" would have done.. He figured Denim.. With it he managed to alongate the legs, giving the models a touch of femeninity.. While focusing on their silhouettes as well.. It's difficult to work with Denim, because it can either look to masculine, or To Girly... I say he completely captured Coco's way of thinking.. After all it was Coco who introduced the pant suit to women... GO KARL!!

This SS08 isn't the best collection of Karl...anyway I like the silver metal accessories and the Coco's dress(with that gold ribbon).The "Stars" part was maybe a little too much for Chanel and I think those dresses with the strange chain(or something,I don't undertsand what they are :|)were horrible...It's impossible to do ALWAYS great collections...even if you are Karl Lagerfeld!Anyway he did a great job with the Pre-fall collection(and there is also Siri Tollerod *-*)

Stefano Pilati is a great designer. I don't really think the two are comparable, to be honest. But I do prefer Pilati. Tom Ford's vision for YSL was very sexy, sharp and modern, yet it seemed focused for a certain age range (18-27 years of age). However, Stefano embodies all of these qualities with ageless femininity and a clear reflection of current events and modern times, while still offering a creative and un-literal vision.

Did he really say that? IF he did, then what a shame. I read a comment he made about the spring collection and women & the beauty and dignity of age (in Another Magazine), and I was amazed at his reverence for women. A comment like that is more than dissapointing.

u have to look at fashion at a retrospective. The times affect it, it affects time. Thus the SHAPES recurring in thsi collection. These runway shows DO NOT reflect what we're wearing now, instead, what we WILL BE wearing sooner or later. The balooned or "banana" pants are actualy identical to Louis Vuitton's, and more voluminous in Galliano. This YSL edition tops my list. Shapeshifting, innovative, effortless and fearless style.

i was really looking forward to seeing her in most of the important shows in milan and paris.but i only saw her in some shows well mostly two especially in milan.dats not reaalllyy good.maybe shes taking a break or something but hell no!!..maybe she don't fit in the designers clothes or something??or there are alot of new models to choose from i guess..but if i were the client i will definately book her because her runway walk is absolutely fabulous!!
