Not bad but too classical for my taste. There should have been a bagpipe somewhere in there. (grin) Re: the speed, it depends on the musician and the context. This tune can be slow and solemn or wild and defiant, either is valid. It can also depend on the verses sung -- there are at least twenty. Some are defiant and others mournful so again, it depends.

yeah. I went to summer camp (i am going into 8th grade) and I got into the highest orchestra! I am so proud of myself. This is an honors song? Awesome!! It IS suppose to be slow and sad. they guy who mad it was about to be killed in jail. I am just sad you can hardley hear the violas :( thats me btw. I love this so much. makes me wanna cry when i hear my orchestra play it on the orchestra concert CD.
