I do own the book thank you, and I feel that some parts of this movie do nothing to catch Melinda's emotion. OK, I'm not questioning the acting I questioning the plot order, and all the enormous tweaks they did. Book remakes never do the job.

Alot of people are confused. This movie was based on a book called " Speak " Now the book should be given to people in highschool for english class but now they put crap like " monster " as novels for us to learn and read?. The book was amazing, i read it about 5 times and never got sick of it. Way more details, no hard to read it right. It explains ALOT of things this movie didnt. But the actress was and still is AMAZING and the movie is pretty damn amaazing it self too.
