Very beautifully played. the first verse confused me because it starts off from the perspective of the leaver, then half way through it it goes to the perspective of the one who is left. I'm wondering was that an artistic choice or just a mistake?

To be honest I would love to own a Nick Lucas or Gibson L~00 style, however this a Robert Johnson style model made by the 'Loar' company, an LH200 model(named after the Gibson vintage designer Lloyd Loar of the 30,s).Very reasonably priced and imported from the USA. Thanks for the comment.

The same software really, the digital camera video also loads into Quicktime(I deleted the digital camera audio(low quality)once loaded and attached via quicktime the condenser mic recording). Again not sure if this is the best way...bit of trial and error really.

Thanks Yiu. I record the audio through a Samson condenser mic straight to computer by USB. The visual is on my digital camera. I then delete the camera audio and zync mic to video on the computer via Quicktime 7.0 (bit messy at first but I got used to it)...There are probably simpler ways but I found this the cheapest for good quality sound. (Quicktime is OK but I'm sampling 'audacity' software at the moment, the software clarity is a bit better)

Nice sounds, Robin! Really cool and effective - terrific for an alleged beginner... My only hint would be to use a little vibrato on your 'held' notes (eg at 5th fret) to make that lovely guitar sing a little more.

Cover of Bruce Springsteens brilliant version from the Seeger Sessions. Made famous by Pete Seeger presumably a traditional negro spiritual, though not sure. Springsteen converted to the minor key I'm told, I think his version is great and allows so many musicians/variations to get involved which I think was his plan for the album.

yes Claude it's the same. Funny thing I didn't use it on this occasion(though I normally do) my digital camera audio gave a nice rough sound with the resonator so I kept that in play this time, and didn't layer the Samson audio which is normally better quality.
