Actually, and sorry for the confusion, it was my bad, what i'm refering to is the particular ringlike pattern that is shown at timeframe :44 and which is similar to the one on the cover of the (mis)behavior of markets. Yeah I agree ,Greenspan was a total Charlatan, but I can't help but feel slightly sorry for him he thought he was dealing with adults. but it seems he realized he was dealing with children. There was look of Disappointment on his face when explaining his reasons for the economic failure.

They really care and have been warning about the economic disaster for a long time, but the greedy pigs preferred to listen to Greenspan's rosy view of Predatory Capitalism. Now it's clear that the so-called "Oracle of Wall Street" is really incompetent and/or corrupt. A better name for Greenspan is "The Wizard of Oz"

Well it depends which country, like the US, demand for farm products is inelastic, so we have farm price supports (unfortunately, IMO) and we have generally lower cost of food cus we usually have record crop yields. For oil, that might be in part due to the oil cartel though it's certainly not the only factor. He makes lots of great points though, especially about the banking stuff. Nice vid.

ShalloeThought I understand you not taking my word for it, but the word sociopath is the modern term for the personality disorder formerly described as psychopath. Ted Bundy, for instance, is described as a sociopath. One couldn't get much worse than that. And many world leaders & businessmen who have not personally killed are also in that category. It's not a matter of killing, it's much more complex than that. Please look up the definition in a psychiatric journal or website.

Apparently you don't understand the difference between "map" and "terrain". It is *reality* (terrain) that has scale-free distributions - it's not a choice. The model (map) used to fit reality is a choice. Current maps predict a flat Earth but it's round. The adverse reality of scale-free is neither predictable nor bounded. In his Professional opinion, people who have been labelled Mavericks by Society ( because of their reckless unpredictable behaviour without regard for others )are generally Pschopaths.
