Thanks for posting this! Fascinating to compare Gary's technique down the years. Here, he is using the tremolo arm. Compare it to the Phil Lynott tribute and he (and Scott Gorham) achieve the same sound by string-bends - check out Boys are Back in Town for example. This band was great also. Bob Daisley - stunning fretless bass there. No idea who played the keys but perfectly loud and soft as needed. Spot on drums as well.

Yup. He was in a band with .38 special guitarist and Benjamin Orr in 2000. They were called Big People. They disbanded before they could record an album due to Benjamin Orr's death.

Gary should be far more successful then he actually is but as the below poster states, he is and will always be a legendary figure in the eyes of rock & rollers, blues aficionados and lovers of good quality music throughout many countries. I could die happy with that status and knowing that I accomplished what I set out to. Hats off Gary ! I will support you until the end my friend... even if I am just a faceless American ghost. Lord of the Strings. Check it out.
