Well that is true but the government in a democracy (should) reflect the will of the people, so if the government has high tax or whatever it is the peoples choice, all it means is the stingy minority (by default they are the minority, if the majority voted for the government) doesnt get away with not chipping in.

Leftists have these sweeping ideas, and what to implement them within the framework of our current economic system. IT WON'T WORK. If you raised the minimum wage then society would collapse. Restaurants have to pay £7.50 instead of £5 an hour, so then all of a sudden they are not turning a profit, so they go under, that means more unemployed people. Banks have no-one to lend to, so they go under etc. The crux of the matter is, no interference is best. Leftists are authoritarians.

When I see morons in the SWP and Communist party carrying placards saying, "Raise the minimum wage to £7.50" it makes me hate them. Do you leftists not understand that all minimum wage laws are costful to a true and fair economy? All governmental input into the economy bastardises it. Minimum wage laws interfere with the whole financial system.

Wouldn't society better reflect humans if choices were made by individuals instead of by the government on behalf of people? Under my system we would see just how much, or how little, people care for their fellow man because any donations to their countrymen or others would be voluntary. And people would have more spending money, they could spend it on whatever they wanted, or give it to charity. The point is that it would be THEIR choice, not the government's choice.

Basically. I believe in individual liberty, in terms of society and the economy, now I am not an anarchist, I don't seek to eliminate any governmental input. Although I do believe in direct democracy (lots of referendums etc). I think what you earn is yours to keep, the only payment you must make is a small one to the government of the territory in which you reside, in return for which they provide basic amenities. If people CHOOSE to give to charity then kudos to them, but its a choice.

That is where the left and right differ, while the right is all about wealth for ones self no matter what, the left seeks to help others as well as provide for themselves. I feel that an important characteristic humans have is the ability to make moral choices and thus minimise harm. Existence seems a little pointless if one doesnt at least give making the world nicer a shot!

I maintain that tax should be an investment, not a fine for earning more. Consequently it should be a flat rate nationally, subject to few concessions, to make it fair. The idea of tax is to pay dividends to taxpayers in the sense that they have roads, hospitals, social security and so on. Not to benefit someone 1000 miles away.

It is a different way to tackle the problem. I'm in favour of lower taxes, fewer restrictions on liberties for citizens and a laissez faire economy, but with no net immigration. Consequently collecting taxes internationally would result in westerners having to pay an unreasonable amount of money in comparision to less developed parts of the world. I only want to pay tax if it produces tangible results for ME, in my area, better roads, schools etc

I know this is an extremely socialist idea, but I think what would end most world poverty (although wars would still be a problem) would be if tax was collected internationally instead of nationally and then distributed to nations across the world. It would then be in the interests of all nations to ensure each others prosperity, this would end a lot of immigration I would think.

If we made clear our position of ZERO IMMIGRATION from the outset then its highly unlikely anyone would even bother. So it wouldn't be an issue. I still think illegal immigrants should be imprisoned and then deported, but I also appreciate that some of them have difficult situations.

Basically, yes. I wouldn't want to be the person who had to do it. I hate what immigrants have done to this country, but its a different matter when it comes to individual people. I wouldn't have a problem turning down an economic migrant or whatever and probably not someone who I felt was a bogus asylum seeker but these people who come here in the back of lorries for 10 hours must be pretty desperate. Unfortunately its not our place to solve the world's problems.

Welshboygaz. The BNP constitution specifically argues for the voluntary repatriation of non-Europeans and the ending of all NON-WHITE immigration. White immigration IS different to non-White immigration because for thousands of years we have had a steady flow, in reasonable numbers, of Europeans who have been assimiltated. Its only since the 1950s that non-Europeans have started coming.

Its hard to treat immigrants as blocks of people, they are individuals. I don't think I could say to someone who had fled Afghanistan, "Look you've got to go home" knowing they could be killed there. But, sadly, due to our dire state it is necessary to enforce such policies, to save our own people.

The BNP's commitment is to preventing non-White immigration, but, as you rightly pointed out, there is currently a decision to halt all immigration and once the voluntary resettlement packages have been offered to non-Europeans some, limited White immigration may be resumed.
