You like the idea of a dictatorship, huh? I suspect perhaps you haven't given living in one a try. Besides, 104 retired generals and admirals have just signed an open letter saying discrimination against gays in the military must end. So if there had been a coup after the election, gay rights would probably move forward faster without that pesky democracy in the way, giving voice to the batshit-crazy religious right.
