Hey! It's mostly the same camera as the V1073, but with 12MP and HD. All the things you mentioned are the same things I don't like as well...It would be great, if you could turn it on during charging, and the battery life could be better... I really liked my Exilim, but it didn't work with my Macs, which is a big no go for me... But if you are a PC user, the Exilim range will make you happy (in my opinion)... Take care Julia

Thanks a lot for your helpfull video, you did it well.I want to buy a compact hd camera with optical stabilise and good for video in low light.I have kodak v1073,its good but has very bad side like: -no disable for AF light (like N95!!) which is always On during taking video. -you can not turn it on during charging. -and the touch screen very hard to see outside.... please reply and tell me which digital camera you advice me

hmmm...I'm pretty sure... Maybe it's because you have a bigger one, which needs more cooling ( Or maybe not, and I'm wrong) At the HP they say: "Intelligentes lüfterloses Kühlsystem" which means: "intelligent cooling system without fan" Reply if I'm wrong :-)

It has no fan, but a good system for protecting the HD from overheating. The Disc is always on my desk, between Imac and wooden surface, and there is no vibration (you can hear a sound like the fan sound of a laptop).
