colonalmarksmen, of course only those cilps are in 3d. it doesnt automaticly convert them into a 3d picture, beacause when its filmed in 2d it has no back to display.

This is NOT a hologram, it is just an application of the Pepper's Ghost illusion. There are 4 projectors each projecting an image below each side of the pyramid. Each side is tilted at 45 degrees so it appears to "float" inside the pyramid. Although this is not a hologram or a 3D image, it still is cool and could have some interesting applications

No, it's not. A hologram uses interference patterns in a flat surface to recreate a different image for your left than what your right eye sees. THIS Cheoptics display merely shows a single flat image of three-dimensional object for both eyes suspended in space. To see EXACTLY the same effect at home, just hold up a sheet of glass at an angle to your TV screen and watch the reflection on the glass (but I guess you could call that a hologram, if you really insist).

That can't be real.... Can it...... How could you be able to watch from multiple angles, it would need to know where you are at all times (I can understand that...but) only 1 person could watch it properly or there would have to be a set of projectors for each person watching so everyone could move independantly...... This can't be real..... Can it.........
