For me he was without question the best there has been. At Ascot Sendawar couldn't even go the gallop with him and he was a miler going over 10 furlongs. I couldn't believe they made Sendawar favourite that day. I piled onto Dubai Millenium and my money was never in doubt. A truly brilliant animal who done it on all types of going and on both surfaces. The only horse that I've seen that I would even compare with him was the mighty Dancing Brave.

I also think that Dubai Millinium would have lost to Man O' War (and Secretariat) for physical reasons...he didn't have the size or power of either of these incomparable horses. Too small. However, I do think DM is very impressive:-)It's how fast he moves that makes him SO unique compared to other horses his size. Love watching how fast he moves:-)

BTW, Dubai would never have won by 31 lengths in any race...he doesn't have the powerful build of Secretariat. He also doesn't have a 21 pound heart or the locomotive running gait of Secretariat. No one could match Secretariat's perfection in build and racing power. I think it's unfair to compare any horse to Secretariat...no horse or human can match him. He still holds records in the Triple Crown after 35 years.

Although I agree that Dubai Millennuium had an unusually great gait compared to other horses and was an incredible race horse and oviously a great champion...he would have lost to one horse...Secretariat. Secretariat was a miracle of nature. He has also been the only horse in history that was recorded to have the perfect running gait. If you watch both of them racing, you'd see why Secretariat would have won easily...Power. But DM would have made it a great race to watch:-)

Thanks for posting this great video of this great horse. Sheikh Mohammed absolutely loved Dubai Millenium, and was heartbroken to lose him. So much so he tried to buy every foal from his only crop. He sired Dubawi 3rd in the Derby! hopefully he'll continue the bloodline of this superstar!

Kuwait is really cool. I am an expat as well. LOL i live in Dasma in Al Salam Hospital. I just don't like the sandstorms. remember this summer? Gosh i think the sandstorm continued at least 2 weeks. Now we hope for some rain. And this new ice cream shop SCOOPS is SALMIYA i soo cool. My 6 yr old Sis loves it.

this city is far from being built...its the supposed Silk City, or " Madinat il 7arir" they've been talking about this for about 4 years or more, correct me if im wrong. and they havent even done monaq9at to start building they prob dont even have blue prints...and the supposed city wouldnt look nething like this...because all those buildings will be privatly owned with there own architecture...i really think kuwait needs to fix the traffic issue first..

Yes I agree that Dubai has way better and thought about building than anywhere in the world. Lol are u kidding me! All the buildings being constructed or constructed in Dubai have insane designs. For instance the Burj Dubai, the Al Arab, and the Truimph Building. I think you need to do some research lol.

the problem with dubai is that they don't have creativity in designing thier buildings, just build, build, build, boring looking buildings, but in kuwait, soon, u will see very interesting looking buildings, breathtaking structures, there will be new landmark in kuwait which calles ALHAMRA TOWER, its 412 building containing shoping mall and cenimas, it will rise near the kuwait tower, the interesting thing about it, is that the whole building will be sculptured, it will end in 2010
