I share your dream. I am afraid that the control of the media, and therefore public opinion, is not limited to main-stream media anymore. While censorship is more difficult on the web, when you type in 'news' into any search engine, you get the same filtering, and generally the same media organizations as you do on television. Consequently, the internet new distribution is becoming just as monitored and censored as main-stream media. I am afraid it is going to get much worse first.

There's absolutely no need for a "government charter" for any "site". The web itself is an example of distributed (no hierarchical power-structure) discourse. It's just not a very good example; better ones will be made without the help of any government or even corporation (non-profit included) and be free from control by even the creators. It's a lot less complex to build than the Linux kernel, for example, though I'll admit it's taking longer than it should have. P.S. You mean 'course'.

The Republican party can be changed through a political movement brought on by the Liberty movement. The Republican party is a highly valuable political tool. electoral process will not work that way. A huge portion just watch corporate media. The voting is rigged, nothing has been done. Either: 1. media are brought into line, and the election process is repaired via filmed paper ballot, count, and emission... or 2. constitutional order is restored via 2nd Amendment.

I love RP, however, I do not believe that it is fair for him to lump Obama into the same wagon as McCain, granted, he is the Democratic party leading candidate, and I don't necessarily agree with the two party system, but, there is clear distinction in policy between the two candidates, from my opinion... This is a serious issue. We are ruining young people's lives, creating differed dreams and unrealized potential by permanently pegging people for a victimless crime. If it was legal, less people would do things like drive high. I have seen plenty of violent fights break out between people who are drunk but how many fights do you see between people who are just high. I have never heard of one where outside contributing factors (such as drug sales and turf wars... also caused by the legality.)

for those wanting to know. target center was sold out. it started late because they had to open up more seats due to the flood of people. there was also a constant flow of people outside. it was great. on the other side of the river it was a completely different atmosphere. i sum it up to this. on our side of the river we had hope. on the other side of the river there was very little to none. i'm proud to be part of the ron paul revolution. he is truly a hero.

A once in a lifetime event I will remember FOREVER...my hero...our leader...our mentor our friend...saw him 6 times in 3 days, got my picture taken with him... I don't know if others experienced it, but Ron has like a magnetic aura around him of such that touching his shoulder gave me goose bumps...like those holy ghost shivers... He is a person I would welcome into my home and serve him up my best dinner... He is humble and gentle and so much more. Our country is lucky to have him!!!

The high oil price peak we've been seeing over the year was pure and utter speculation. A "free market" and people were just riding it like a roller coaster. Until all of a sudden, oops, the bubble burst, and after the economy tanking because of it (it certainly contributed), down it goes. That's the "correction" I was referring to. With better regulations speculators wouldn't be able to jack up the price like they have. Price was pretty much determined by emotions, not facts.
