How about these reasons? Obama's web site reads more like the American Socialist Party than that of the Democrats. His ideas on fairness and economics are rooted deeeper in the Communist Manifesto than in the US Constitution. Maybe the unions like that he supports taking our right to secret ballot elections. I agree. We don't agree on everything. I'm open-minded. But, like many Obama supporters you seem to be a dreamer and have offer little of substance ( so far ). My vote for him will be as "the lesser of 2 evils". Unless, I get so suspicious and turned-off by his fiercest and rudest supporters I just vote for a minority party candidate. Okay, but a platform is a promise, nothing more. Barack has taken the time to come out to rallies for the organizing campaign I work on and even plans to mention these workers' stories during Senate debate on EFCA this week.
