Exactly. Odviously a band is going to get old and their stuff is going to change. Times change, and Metallica changed. I also started with the BA, but then I got Master of Puppets. After that I went out and bought every album they have. What would "true" Metallica fans rather listen to, this new Metallica or some EMO bull shit like MCR and Tokio Hotel?? I choose metallica without question.

True, true. you got it my friend. The larger fan base of metallica only discovered them when The Black Album came out. Its the first album I bought. But then I went back and listened to all their albums and discovered much more. The people that say they dont like the Black Album or Load and Reload, they got stuck in the 80's. Comon people, if you're real fans, you'll like them all.

True and not true at the same time. I personally dont feel they exactly fell until St. Anger. All their albums after "Justice for All" were awesome, but just not as awesome as their first 4. But their most recent is alot better than St. Anger. So why do most fans hate The Black Album so much? Is it the fact that now their a bunch of people that claim to be huge Tallica fans but only like songs on that album?

Jason rocks. He always looks like the badass in the band. The one who always screws stuff up, the insane metal madman. But backstage he's the mellowest in the band. He just chills out. I don't like his singing, and his bass playing isn't INCREDIBLE, but as a guy i totally respect him for what he brought to Metallica. Personally, i think that Robert Trujillo is the best bassist they've had. Yes better than Cliff. BUT ONLY IN MY OPINION. BTW, This is the best metal concert EVER!!!

It is so retarded that people come on here being fanboys. Megadeth is a good band and so is Metallica. They were both part of the big 4 in the beginning of thrash metal. Dave Mustaine is a great guitarist/singer/songwriter and Metallica is a great band as well. So just enjoy the music and stop the arguing. The more you argue over which is better is the less time you can spend listening to them. FFS.
