Also, you're saying the rich would benefit because more people are spending on thier products. But, they are not there to sell things, they are there to make money. Therefore, they are earning back the money that they already earned and got taken away. So they have to work twice as hard to get it, and part of that goes away again. I think this would curb their appetite for working those long hours. Or they could just raise prices, and get the same in their pockets at our expense.

So we take money from the rich, who pay our salaries, and control their companies. There are certain costs involved in doing business. Do you think the rich will skimp on their profits? Are you an idiot? That tax plan is ridiculous. By taxing people who make over a certain amount of money a year (or the "rich") you're also taxing the businesses which make those large incomes. When you tax a business and they have to pay more, they have no choice but to raise their prices on their goods to continue making a reasonable profit, thus raising prices for "ordinary people". If you have any mathematics skills at all, I suggest you finally put them to use.
