I have an interview with Farid who mentions that this is a concerto for Piano and guitar and he played it on the Oud to demonstrate and proof Oud can be used in a Western style orchestra so he never mentioned it's his piece of music. allah ysem7ak ya 3abd el halim, but we all know that maybe you wanted to really sing for farid and the some people who were fighting this genius prevented all of this, and also om kalthoum couldn't sing for him for same reason. Just remember that Farid wasn't born in egypt and was treated as a foreigner for a while and most of the giants there were jealous of him.
