Interesting posts...I believe it is a very bad idea to write the name of the captain on such a video...for the main reason that you as videoman is bashing on a very fine Captain. Being an expat captain myself for Skyeurope, I can assure you that MR Kousal is the best pilot we have.He is an examiner(CZ licence),ex SLovak airlines DOM,one of very first to fly 737 in central europe /and as such is teaching new first officers.Ask any pilot among expats(capt and fos)hes the most highly respected!!

this was just a short field landing>>> this is done by the pilots in order to take the first available exit and safe another 3 minutes!!! if you make a long flare this is simply impossible!!! so if you have for example a light tail wind and you want to make the 1th exit the landing usually feels a little bit harder than normal!!! but as i explained this is done for a reason!!! it's all about on time performance and saving every drop of fuel!!! grtz

It annoys me that passengers should give judgement on landings, what do passengers know about landing a plane? That landing wasn't bad, look at his rate of descent, you don't see the white line instantly. Landing a plane isn't about comfort, it's about getting a dangerous situation into a safer one.

What do you mean with: "do it better" and :"it's not easy"? I would not make a comment on a landing unless I was in the P1 seat or P2 seat or at least the flight deck jump seat. People think that if a commercial aircraft hits the ground hard that it was a bad landing. When in fact sometimes it depends on ambient conditions how hard you have to plant it. Such things as effective braking can be affected if the aircraft is landed too lightly.

Are you fucking kidding me...please tell me you are. They ask you to turn off all wireless devices during take-off and landings so they don't interfere with the plane and the control towers. A video camera is not a wireless device, and wont interfere with them. "why r u" and "Why people like *u* complicate our job?" You lack the ability to spell, and use proper grammar. i tried simmer's sky's planes, their exterior models are quite good, but i really hated the unnatural colour of their panels lol, wilco's 777 is average, but PSS's 777 is awesome and u should try it! it has an easy-to-use but not-too-easy FMS and detailed VC & exterior models :D

Tyical landing you say, thought planes do not use 09R for landings, if runways 09 are in use, 09L is typically in use for landings and 09R for take offs. Anyway, nice video, just do you like flying with ''Overland'' models? Well if you would like to get real flying experience, I suggest you to use PSS 777 or Wilco 777 models. They have FMC, very realistic 2D and Virtual panels and even weather radar. Good luck!

No, I play FSX. As I know, that turn must be done with rudder. The pilots who used to land on Kai-Tak did use rudder, they had to. I'm interested why that will be a bad idea in FS2004. Would you like to tell me?

Negative. Boeing jets are distinctively different from those of Airbus models --- from flight control layouts to avionics (only 777 uses fly-by-wire, by the way) and vice versa. Boeing is actually the one that once purchased copies of Airbus to "study." Anyway, the resembles don't go much beyond a-barrel-with-wings-attached-to-it, as it is the most economically sound arrangement for modern airliners.
