It's funny that you say that, actually, I play Forza 2 too much. Hahahaha. But I'm not a complete expert on the engine stuff yet, so excuse my incorrectness if you will. So, you bored your engine, but how come you didn't hone it? Or is that part of boring it? By the way, I would buy the AMS 2.3RR, but, does that mean their gonna be shipping the whole engine to my house?

you've played a little NFSU too much. or GT3/4 you don't port / polish a short block you bore / hone. And mine is bored and comes out to like 2.35L the tomei stroker is lower displacement than my kit. If you have the money AMS makes a 2.3RR motor that is very safe to 9000rpms constantly. Safe to 9,500 for drag racing

tomei stuff is too baller for me. They have a 2.2L kit thats badass. IF i had one of those i'd spin it to 8800everyday. Shep explained it to me like this 10,500rpms on a 2L is safe. so 85% of that =8925 Thus i wouldn't exceed 8800rpms. And i stop at 8k almost always. Spun a rod bearing and destoryed my stock crank so i had to get a new crank went ahead and got a 4g64 crank. rods are manley I beam's and pistons are 8.8:1 .020over bore tuff skirt wisecos. ACL bearings ARP hardware

Wait, what does it mean when you "spun a bearing?" But damn, 8K almost everyday seems to prove that it's reliable. I was just gonna rev the car to the max of 7,800 RPM, maybe a little more when racing. Also, what brand are you using? Because I was gonna use a 2.3L from Tomei.

um well i spun a bearing so i went ahead and stroked the car. I rev mine to 8k almost everyday have 23k miles on the car. Check the 37r video's i go to 8k I would say they are reliable untill 8500 I wouldn't go higher than 8800. 8k is my limit though since i daily the car.
