This is a live Video Organ remix of Daft Punk's Harder Better Faster Stronger.
I basically deconstructed the song and each video and remixed them live. Each video clip is mapped to the relative audio clip and voilla.
This is part of a Live Cinema installation I am doing called The Maelstrom that will be showing in Toronto this spring.

SXSW 2007

Here is a video of South By South West this year. It was a really wild time. Lots of awesome bands & bbq.
Martha Wainwright played with Pete Townshend. The Polyphonic Spree were brilliant. Amy Millan sang honey from the tomb.
There was music emanating from every direction. All of it great. Some of it exceptional.

I'm a fan of both. But I prefer The Polyphonic Spree over Arcade Fire... Why? Because their mission is: make everyone happy. The enthousiasm and joy of TPS is so overwhelming. Every single song of TPS is a masterpiece... Arcade Fire has a lot of superb songs, but I skip the others because "too boring, too much the same". TPS didn't steal their music from Arcade Fire, they started in 2000 in support of the sweetest band alive (Grandaddy :-) and they made 2 albums before AF made theirs.

I was just at the Tucson show on the 3rd. It was the most amazing thing I've ever seen, and the band all seemed really, really THERE and into it and excited. The energy just turned like a cyclone and rose all around us. I'm a new fan, but I love the Spree with all my heart and I wish I could follow them from show to show.

i disagree strongly. i saw them in 2002 0r 2003 in Cleveland and was blown away but it didnt even come close to their show in Toronto earlier this year. It was easily in the top 5 shows ive ever seen. period.

You must not have been at the NXSW concert. Ask anyone there. I'm curious if you have seen them before this year? You sound like a new fan. The music is still good, but the live show has changed and lacks the power it once had. Period, end of sentence....I think even the band knows it.

They must have just had a bad night. We saw them in Milwaukee on July 9th and the show kicked ass. The sound was tight and the energy was off the scale. You never had a bad night? I guess all you perfect ones just need to get up and walk on water. Maybe their turn to the dark side is reflective on our society and how it is currently screwed up and divided over issues like the war that is going on. By the way, when is your next concert? This Spree show was sad and very disappointing.The ONLY songs that worked were the 2-3 older songs where we could picture them in happier times before they made their Faustian pact and a turn to the dark side. It was BAD, sad and Tim was mad. The music is still good, but the live show is dead. DEAD. They should have listened to us last year. You didn't have to be a "psychic" to forecast this mess. You just had to have sense, listen to the fans How sad...."but we told em so" :)
