This is pretty cool. I suppose you are already aware of this, but STALKER was actually partially inspired by a 1979 movie, also named "Stalker". it was directed by Andrej Tarkovski and it was in its turn also loosly based on a novel called "Roadside Picnic". The novel also greatly influenced the game, perhaps even more than the movie.
