Thank you! I do have alternatives. In cooking, wine is often used to offer a bit of acidity and also volume. Lemon juice, or any citrus, can do the same. If you don't want your food to be too lemony, however, you can also use chicken broth. In terms of drinking, there are many interesting fruit drinks in specialty stores that are bottled and look like champagne. Also, I drink a lot of herbal iced teas with little or no sweeteners.
