I still haven't found a news article with facts about someone getting spat on, so I don;t believe it actually happened and it is simply a rumor to make the Citadel look bad, but even if I did you are being sexist. If they want equal rights, then it should not be taboo to spit on them because they are girls. Only because spitting on someone is wrong. The Princeton Band pokes some fun (and acts in an admittedly boorish way) during their half time show, and you think you need to physically intimidate them? I understand about the incident the day before, but can't we agree that that was just an honest, though regrettable, mistake? Do you have to be so ignorant? What is so special about the South? Are you a better or more legitimate American because you grew up south of the Mason Dixon line? I did too, as it happens, and it does not make me (or you) special. And are you joking about the scoreboard telling it all? Citadel plays little league college football and you think that winning a game against another little league team makes your university somehow significant? With respect, you know nothing, and I mean nothing, about Princeton other than its name. Donald Rumsfeld, David Petraues, James Baker, George Schultz, Robert Mueller, George Will, Samuel Alito, Steve Forbes, and on and on. Yeah, real bleeding heart liberals, every one of them. When they graduate they, for the most part, believe themselves better than everyone else, which maybe they are, but they don't have to be so snotty about it. And for the record, that liberal elitist school has produced some of the most patriotic people in US history... James Madison, Woodrom Wilson, John Witherspoon, Grover Cleveland, and many more... Being a conservative is not the secrete to being a patriot. Many of those at Princeton are from typically conservative backgrounds and many more are from poor regions of the US who get awarded "academic scholarships." Saying Princeton is all elites is like saying all USC students play football.

What do you expect from 19 yo old boys with toy guns ? The Citidel trains them to do what they do best: get fucked up the ass by Iraqi insurgents and then die.
