If you change keyboard mode to "Compact" in FFXI config, you can use WASD to move your character. If you want to quickly use spells, you can make macros like everyone else, then you cast spells with the press of a button. If you want to cap the graphics of FFXI, set all of the built-in settings to max, and if you're still not satisfied, there are third-party tools that further enhance the graphics (Such as the FFXI Elements Enhancer tool.)

TBH my on board gfx card can freaking run this! ( and if anyone knows how bad that is well...yeah... ) People that while over a few flaws just don't like to accept that others enjoy something they don't...as if they need everyone to feel what they like and dislike. TBH I think FFXI has the best PLD set-up in any game so far. It's one of the biggest reason why I play because I truly am the "tank"...and not some half put out Melee class with gobs of HP like WoW and Vanguard showed me...

thats odd using number pad, iam used to using left hand to walk not right, and my graphics card is fine. its an 8800gt overclocked 512mb my pc got 2gb ram dual core. its fine to run this. if i can run crysis maxed with no problems i think i can run this =)

1.) Use Macros, macros are your friend! 2.) You can use the number key pad to walk around, which is better than WASD. 3.) Maybe you need to tweek your settings, graphics card is bad, or your eyes are burned out from staring at the neon raver armor in WoW.

no the game just sucks, you have to load every area, you can't jump off the bridges (invisible walls in mmorpg are really stupid to put it) makes the world not so massive, you have to right click a few times before your spell list shows up and by then your dead. you can only walk around by dragging the mouse. the graphics are fuzzy and hard to see. game would not have been so bad if your spells were on the bottom like every other mmo, you could walk around with wasd keys.

wow has had a trial for a long long time with tons of subscribers, i do believe 500k subscribers is a pretty low number. warhammer online is at 800k subscribers and its only been out a month. and i tried ffXI it is a pretty horrible game.

What are you talking about? WoW has 11 million players and they have a free trial... One has nothing to do with the other. Also, FFXI has had ~500k players for years running now, right up to the last concensus they did a month or so back... It's doing just fine.

On Leviathan I used 4 Yagudo Drinks
Afterwards, I tried to keep costs directly related to the fight down. Every piece was very cheap or free, Pineapple juice was synthed personally, and food was Mithkabobs.
For the 2hr I would Deactivate Kinoki to ensure his survival, so waiting 20 minutes for the timer to have "2 puppets a fight" is unnecessary.

the reason this looks so hard it beacuse this when pup had a max of 5 slots for element now we have up to 7. not to mention tier 4 nukes and cure 5. and all new attachments to help us out further this vid was amde even before tier 2 atatchments so now with mana jammer 1 and 2 also steam jacket i think are puppet can take a diamond dust better than we can. Pup can solo these easier and ill show it when my rdm hits lvl 37

Instructions are a bit off for Wild Wild Whiskers. You only silence him if he casts something other than burst to start. If you silence burst, then he'll use other spells instead of it, which causes problems and likely death. (Especially if he uses Thundaga)

You must be a monk, one of those no-brain jobs to use - /attack, go afk and get a snack, come back, mob is dead while rest of party had to keep you alive and actually DO stuff. PUP is meant to have fun, and can be challenging to those who have hard time using jobs with things to do, other than hitting mob. SE made PUP to be more complex than other jobs; which goes to show you'll never be able to use it. At least Elmer's thinking of possibilities & alternatives, not bashing the job like others.

Your can reactivate your 'bot after one minute after it's last activation if the automaton's HP was 100% when you deactivated it. The timer goes to 20 minutes to Activate if your automaton had taken any damage and wasn't at 100%HP when you deactivated it. Hope that helps

Very interesting find as always Elmer! Might be useful to note that Replicator will only work under 75%, so in order to pull off the ADD trick, a party of meritted PUPs can keep their 'maton's at full with Role Reversal and +HP gear just incase the mob gets a sneaky hit in.

I'll admit that this is an interesting concept, but a cannon of any kind would kill much faster and more efficiently. Pup really has nothing to make it shine yet,and that's why until it does it will be a second rate DD. Leaving a mob unclaimed like that is just asking for it to be stolen too.

The other cool tarutaru character is Ajido-Marujido. The skinny thing is an Automaton: it's the puppet that Puppetmasters (one of the jobs) use to fight. And there are lots of bad guys in FFXI. The Shadow Lord in the original story, Kam'lanaut and Eald'narche in Rise of the Zilart or Promathia in Chains of Promathia.
