The title sounded very promising, and I'm glad it's not Harry Callahan all over again, but I don't think this will be considered as one of Clint's most anticipated films ever. Hopefully I'm wrong, because Eastwood is simply THE MAN and he hardly ever fails to deliver the goods, but judging from these images, it's not going to be as "earth-shattering" or "mindblowing" as "Mystic River" or even "Space Cowboys". But then again...even Clint is human. Well...almost.

How sad & unjust it is that this film gets like, a 2-week run in afew cities here in the U.S. at small indie theatres (including here in Portland), while the god-awful Dimlight gets promos & plugs monthes in advance & will be one ov the biggest grossing films ov the year. Hands down the best Vampire film ever to be released, it has gore and violence, but it doesn't dwell on it, and focuses more on the sadness of Eli, and Oskar, and how they are drawn to each other regardless of their differences. Without revealing too much, it's an extremely daring film subject, and it has been pulled off beautifully. The scenery makes the film special. It may be slow, but this film will hold a special place the hearts of all who view it.

i looked up whatever info they have on the movie (which hasnt even been filmed yet) and i can ALREADY tell what the predictable plot is. take "ID4" and replace aliens with water. take "godzilla" and replace giant lizard with meteors, take "day after tomorrow" and replace ice age with fire and volcanoes. and to TOTALLY make sure the story gets stupid, throw in some mythical way to prevent all this by ripping off the latest indiana jones movie. enjoy!
