i heard the ps2 version sucks. gonna convince my friends to get the ps3 version aitd4 only scared me when i was 10. it can really startle you sometimes (not as much as any resi game, silent hill game, or Eternal Darkness) but it was still a fun experience

lol I was talking about checking out the wii version on youtube. :P buy you're right, the ps2/wii version is so much less scary... ^_^ and when you kill enemies in the ps2/wii version they just die. in the 360 version you have to burn their bodies or else they come back to life which is really creepy T_T

A very nice game, the only thing that bothered me is that the characters are poorly worked out (like no changing face expressions, none talking mouths, etc.) Thats too bad, cause the graphics (certainly of the backgrounds) were perfect for that time (2001).

don't go to the door...go in the middle and wait for him to appear...then you aim at him and fire (don't worry once it raises from water you'll have enough time to turn to him and shoot)...you have to resist there untill he's dead...so yeah you have to kill him

I wish they should make a 6th alone in the dark game that continues where this game ended. For example: With the same cool looking long haired Edward Carnby guy,And a new riddle has to be solved 2 years after the destruction of Shadow island. That would just be awesome,Just like the new nightmare only better graphics,new monsters and new weapon's. That would be a dream to come true ^^

Much better ending compared to AiTD 5's. Carnby is also a much cooler character in this one (that double-barrel revolver is too awesome for words). The 5th game, although very cool and engaging, fails at the ending, which made me sad. Also, in mention of Carnby's past, it makes no mention of Shadow Island, just the classic games. BLAH! :( This one was way awesome, good memories, unique enemies. and the experimental weapons were AWESOME. Sometimes the puzzles got real vague and annoying though.

yeah on the 360 there is basically one boss. The rest are just monsters. I love the first and third person views. If you haven't tried the 360 version you should cause it is really fun and much more realistic.

I have played it on the ps2 (this one) but it really sucked, i mean not even the faces were like in this game and after I saw a wii gameplay video of this game I immediately tought that they had made the wii version to be like the ps2 one, the xbox version is already great and I am praying these 2 days for this game to be AS GOOD AS THE XBOX VERSION IS, not like the ps2 and wii versions

Let it be known that this isn't actually KH3, but rather Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep coming out for the PSP, doesn't mean it won't be any less epic though. This video premiered at the end of Final Mix which was only released in Japan, they are rather going to be releasing Final Mix in the states in pieces, starting with the remake of Chain of Memories which came out a few days ago.
