Usually I don't post a comment, but this is worthy of me doing so. 5 star rating from me. This is undoubtedly the best version I've seen and I've seen a lot, and also play this piece myself. Other versions are often rushed, or played without feeling/emotion, or just played very sloppy, unlike this one which is played very nicely. Great job man!

The piece was written by Francioso Tarrega, one of history's most famous guitar instructors/ composer, who lived during the Romantic period, and is credited by Segovia as being the "Saint of the Classical guitar". Hi Lynn: Yes, there's a famous story that Christopher Parkening wanted to know how his new guitar sounded, so he asked Segovia to play it. Parkening said "It sounded like Segovia". Yes, the guitar can make a difference, but not as much as the player. Have a great Christmas! Rick

Hi Lynn: I wish that I were more up on my woods. I play a dauphin guitar with a cedar top, and I love the tone. It sounds plenty bright to me. You know how it is with classical guitars. Like Eddie Van Halen said "the tone comes from your fingers". Rick

Hey Rick, Oh well,with Singapore being a tropical country and temperatures ranging on the higher side(31-34degrees) thru out the whole year,we'd always say its cold when the temperature drops to 24..this happens usually at the end of the year,when it rains for days on end,and the sun is no where in sight..Its definitely not gonna be as cold as your winter and i guess some of us have never ever seen snow in our lives(me included)!
