You're right-Sara wrote Love Song because Epic wanted her to essentially "write a love song" to be the hit single off of Little Voice, and she refused. She didn't want to write a song just because they were telling her to, she wanted it to have meaning, come from her heart. Obviously, this did. And it's sort of ironic that IT became the hit single ;)

I think she wrote this about her record label. She said something like she got caught up in writing for the label instead of for herself and that's how this song came about. Pretty cool concept, didn't even think of it that way.

She is just describing the downfall of someone denying an addiction to a heaven-like feeling through heavier drug use. yeah, the american fields are generally 100 yards, especially high-school fields because the soccer field is the footballfield mainly, at my schools field we just got a new stadium with sport-turf and they have the american football markings, along with the soccer markings, except there is yellow lines on the edges that mark the bounds for soccer(they extend past the football bounds) but the soccer field is still just as long as the football field, they are one and the same, lol

actually the university of hawaii football (amercian not soccer) team did it to last year as well, and didn't lose until they're last game. its seen as an awesome pre-game pump-up/intimidation for americans, not neccessarilly a war dance ritual.

As a kiwi(new zealander), im alittle shocked they do the haka, but having said that if they have permission and had the training then tbh i think that school has a cool tradition, thats pretty unique for the u.s.a. I also think that they are damn lucky cuz i think thats a gift not given lightly. I'll watch it because any team thats obviously so pro new zealand and rugby should be supported. Well Well Well someone has finally upset some of Gelwix's Church College boys.
