Lufia II has better and more puzzles, better music and characters/storyline, better Ancient Cave, funnier Dekar, better battlesystem. There are also monsters you can have in your party, but you don't catch them, but find them and you can't fuse, it'll fight with you as 5th character (not-controllable) Lufia II is the best in the series IMO

About Rune Factory: I hear that u dont need to farm, you can fight monsters ANYTIME you want, even farming, but you wont be forced to fightany monsters, or do farming like Harvest Moon, or Final Fantasy, also the girl is not hist sister, it his future bride... IMO, this is also the number one in the series, but I think that Lufia III is a bit underrated. I liked the higher difficulty level, the large amount of characters and the good matrix system. The story was very nice, too. People tend to dislike III, but I think both games are the best RPG on their systems.

One of my favorite games of all time, though Lufia and the Fortress of Doom is also right up there with this IMHO (I love oldschool rpgs). The third is pretty solid too, never played the fourth. It'd be nice if they'd pick up Ruins Chaser again and put it on a real console instead of a handheld, or just made a new one like that.

Brilliant! They put the Egg Dragon's HP higher than the HP system could support.. So what happens when you give the potion is that it cycles around from the highest number possible to the lowest.. 8) So if it was 65535 HP, you brought it to 29 (cycled to 0 + 29 left from a 30 HP potion) and killed it with one shot.. I never knew this and beat it the hard (cheaty) way 8)

Look , I do not want to start an arugement, when I am in a temple, I just want to get to the boss, since I like boss battles more than having the dungeon's fucking puzzles getting in my way and being harder than the dungeon's boss in Lufia 2, so that's why I only like the 1st Lufia, even though Lufia 2's music is very good. I do know that puzzles are the meat and potatoes of the Lufia games, but to me, in order to beat a puzzle in the Lufia games, I use a game guide, so DO NOT call me a noob.

they should finish the lufia series with a fifth installment with arek in it but not as the main antagonist. it should be a stronger and darker force behind the four sinistrals who has been resurrecting them this same entity who in turn is stronger than Arek and destroys him. remember it was stated in the series that arek ordained good. it should be the final conclusion that will cast the last judgment on the world if they include this new darkness.
