Very insightful, thanks. That reminds me of personal issues I had to look at and finally my love life has improved a lot. For example at one time I did just want sex and several sex partners. Eventually they stopped working and I did not realize that what was once satisfying is no longer. I needed a soul connection, loyalty and tenderness. When I changed my ritual focus to soul mate I had instant success.

Personally, I disagree with the term "self-initiation." Initiation is done TO someone BY an outside force, be that a teacher, group or Deity. The idea is to create a spontaneous psychological shift of awareness; in essence, you cannot surprise yourself. I believe that "self-dedication" is the more appropriate term.

It varies and it is symbolic but essentially the Goddess came into being and later gave birth to the God. Once he grew in an adult they fell in Love and had sex and she became pregnant with the universe and gave birth to everything. You should study Wicca for a year and a day. At that time you can do a self initiation if you are not in a coven. In my opinion you can't call yourself Wiccan until you are initiated. Either through a coven or self initiated. Hope that helps.

Allowing the gods to choose is done through meditations and vigils until it comes to you. Mine came to me during a vigil. I do not care for wolves much or dogs in general. However, I went to a spirit guide class once where they taught us to find and work with our spirit guides. Mine turned out to be a wolf. Guess what? I have had many gifts given to me over the years that have at least one wolf on it. I hadn't realized it until I got home and started looking at everything. Weird huh?

Very cool! It isn't that important to have a craft name. It is a tradition that stems from protecting ones self from exposure to the authorities. My craft name that I do not reveal publicly anymore because at one time was unique and some people have copied it. You can get a Craft name one of two ways. Choose it yourself or let the gods choose. If doing it yourself then pick a name that means something to you.

Hay bud, 1 your cam was just fine. 2 You have some realy nice looking books there. 3*hint*I have found some vary nice blank books that people can use for said book stiles at Dollar stores. And for a buck a peace thay can cover all three books that you stated can be covered way cheep. Just a hint there for people to save a buck. Nothing agents the web site or anything but if people are looking for cheep books to start with and keep there eyes open at some of thes Dollar stors can get some deals.

well I make alter stuff for one. statues of gods, pentacles, wooden cups, etc. also make wands and carve handles to go on athames. On top of that I fo more mundane carvings like animal and woodspirits and such. fun hobby and I make a little extra money on the side with it.

hmm well I do woodcarving myself so I can answer this question, but it depends on what you are trying to clean, what kind of wood it is and what kind of finish has been used. if it's unfinished and there is a stain, then you may have to sand. i would not recommend using oils on wood statues. wood is very porous and you could cause permanent damage to your alter statue. feel free to pm me if you want.

It's a different kind of energy than physical energy though it often manifests itself that way. I tried to understand you as best I could. You can actually contact spirits from virtually anywhere. There are places that make it easier. In my experience the spirit world and ours interact all the time. It requires a lot of learning and discipline to engage in magic and spiritism. But the same is true for many practices. Therefore you can't condemn it because it takes skill to navigate it.

Sorry for the delay. YT hasnt been sending me messages about new comments. I bought my molds and melting pot from AC Moore. It is a craft store. Most craft stores should sell them. There are different ways of melting the wax. Some are even microwaveable. However, I think it is better to melt them on a stove because you can control the temperature.

If you are filling in patterns on the candles surface that is very difficult and tedious and as far as I know there are no molds. I remember seeing someone using an eyedropper to fill the patterns and then scraping the excess off when it cooled. Anyway you look at it there is a chance to get burned but if you are careful you shouldnt.

I do not work with that type of wax, but I do believe there is a spray that is recommended that keeps the wax from sticking. Are you carving out the center or patterns on the outside? If the center then there are molds for that but if you cant get them then put it back into the mold and pour the new wax in what you carved out. Let it cool slightly before pouring so that the whole thing doesnt melt Make sure to plug the whole in the bottom of the mold. It will either work or not.

I thought that too before I started making them, but no. If you want the top perfectly flat then you can heat up a pan and put the top part on it and hold it there until it goes flat. I tried that once and it was a pain. I stick the homemade looking top of the candle. :)

I saw and encounted "shadow people" before I ever even heard the term or concept of "shadow people". I just called them "faint, shadowy apparitions", and I encounted these while fully awake. I'll make a video about them sometime, not sure when though.

Interesting I know many things move through the realms. Not all dangerous but well not all are peaceful. Spirits are all around the shadow people and shadow creatures. I don't know much about that.. I can't say I have seen ..shadow people... my sight when it comes to spirits is different!

I have seen them for years long before I even heard of shadowpeople. "My" people doesn´t seem to see me, I feel no fear and no evil. They are just ´passing by. Lateley I have seen my own dog (and he is alive) walking around the room in a shadow while his body is sleeping on the couch, have no clue what it is though

I really don't know what the shadow people are. There are so many varied stories, I'm not really sure they can all be lumped into the same catagory. Personally, I've never seen one. I do think that a lot of the hag stories do not actually conform to sleep paralysis. I've had at least one incident of sleep paralysis that melted into a dream of alien abduction (I'm an all around "paranormal enthusiest") that freaked me out.

Actually a peaceful calm. My astral senses are screwed up. They may be shadow people but I see them differently or maybe they are the opposite. I occasionally feel a cat walking on my bed at night, kneading the mattress and then lying down.

I was just going to bed when it happened...I was able to lift my head up off my pillow when it happened, but my shoulders were held down. I also could move my legs and arms... So I truely feel it wasnt Sleep paralysis or relaxing of my muscles... I truely believe there WAS a spirit, entity there with me. Who knows... But I have seen shadows before in my life too! I will have to make a Video about it sometime.

Sounds like sleep paralysis, but that usually only lasts for about 30 seconds. If it happens again see if you can move anything like your legs. If you are still pinned but moving then it may not be sleep paralysis.

I once felt somthing in my room. It was around 11:30 midnight and I was just going to bed. I didnt see anything there or any shadows. However I felt something come to my bed and hold me down onto my bed. I tried to scream for my parents to come to my aid and nothing came out when I screamed. It held me down onto my bed...by my shoulders...Is this the same thing?? it lasted about 2-3 mins. Once it let go I jumped up out of bed and went to my mother and father and told them. Crazy?? I was actually trying to get info on shadow men earlier this year because of an experience my sister was begging me to help figure out. What I found was that not much is known about shadow men. They are a little different from typical spirits and ghosts. Although most feel fear and doom from these entities, no one has really been hurt by them. It almost seems as if they are trying to scare you maybe to feed off ones fear. This is just what I learned after a little research. I could be wrong.

I backed away, trying to get to the light switch, not turning away until i had to to see the switch. when i looked back, it was gone. so, i know they are possible. I don't think I have had experience with a Shadow People. I know my house is haunted by 2 spirits, both of whom I knew when they were living and both died here on the property. I have seen shadowy figures in my hallway and also in my front pasture but I have always dismissed it as one of our know spirits. It is an interesting thought is if some of these phenomenon could be something else.

I've never seen a shadow. I usually see a person in person in white robes and hair, either a bearded man or a Lady.
