Nice facts, though I didn't quite catch that first anime you mentioned, but I did hear 'One Piece'. Don't feel too bad, as lots of people like Luigi (AKA Mama, Stone, Gay etc. in Youtube poop, for comedy effect only) and lots of people hate 4kids. I'm probably one of those people who sees it as a mixed blessing, much like Saban International (though i'll never forgive Haim for selling out to Disney of all companies, but I digrace).

Basically what I'm trying to say is that Irespect the fact that many anime fans (yourself included) dislike many 4kids dubs, including Sonic X, that's fine, but what I'm saying is that not everyone will dislike the dubs. I admit although it's edited, I don't mind watching the Yu Gi Oh english dub, both the short lived uncut and the edited version for kids.

Apparentily not everyone will share your opinion. I know of one person who liked the Sonic X dub and I recon that there's is a number of child fans who would also dis-agree with you. Basically 4kids is a mixed blessing. If it wasen't for them, then we wouldn't have heard of someof the anime that we watch today, though they maynot do a 100% job with some of their dubs, to the eyes of the faithfull 'adult' anime fans like yourself. But kids love these dubbed animes, hence the name 4kids.

Well Sonic was ment for kids anyway, it's just that Japan has a different sense of morality, that's why Sonic X turned out to be a little more extreame if young children in the west saw it, hence why they dubbed that. They dubbed other shows for the same purpose so that young kids can watch them (though some are probably not ment to be seen by very young eyes anyway), They are probably going to be in buisness for quite a while as long as their is anime for them to cash in on.

I've just got one thing to say Yu Gi Oh. There's a lot of merchandise based on that anime and as long as the products are selling, they'll be a demand for the English dub which 4kids provide. I understand you're strong dislike but 4kids have done these dubs so that a younger audience can enjoy them (kids mainly) though these dubs are hated by the true apanese anime fan, you're best to watch them in uncut Japanese with English subtitles.

That's always the challenge isen't it. To try and make the next game better then the last one. Perhaps SEGA should listen to fans opinions on what the next game should have perhaps? But it's highily unlikely they'll have a poll to determine what the next game should be like, it's not really their style. Ah well, we can always dream. Ah a 2-D Shadow game would probably sell well.

I've played following MoH games: Underground Alied Assault Pacific Assault Airborne AA didn't had unlockable medals and awards if I remember well. Underground didn't, but it was great for sneaking. AA was all about action. PA had tons of trinkets to unlock and approx. 3 per mission. It had 9 missions if I remember well. After all, I think PA is the hardest one. That's because of realistic difficulty level - no HUD. Airborne had a few innovations, but it was just 6 missions short.

Hell yeah, Shadow deserves darkness and is too awesome to be 100% screwed up by 4Kids. Even if he's in a 4Kids dub, they can't change him 100%.

Hmm, never thought about that. It'd be pretty cool if they made a Shadow game for the Wii, provided that they changed the flaws from his first game. Also, I think that Shadow's current voice is OK, but it's a little too high and can sometimes lack emotion. But at least he doesn't sound as emotionless as Princess Vivi from One Piece, she may as well be related to Microsoft Sam!! Ahem, anyway, thanks David. ^^

Great review. Funny I was thinking about Sega's recent Sonic 3-D series when you mentioned camera angles, you must be really tolerate of bad camera angles if you managed to play Shadow: The Hedgehog all the way through. Anyway great review. I bet you wish though that they make a Shadow game for the Wii.
