There is a similar story to this, I think from Grimm's Fairy Tale. In that story, the brothers were turned into swans and in order to break the curse she had to make her brothers a shirt out of roses (I believe...I know she had to make them a shirt out of some non-textile materials that took her years to sew). I wished I watched these as a kid, I would have loved this show. Thanks for posting!
