You're right though. Midnight isn't too difficult. Most intermediate guitarists can play it with minimal practice. Probably if these Satch fans actually attempted the piece instead of being stuck in a state of childish wonder, they could pull it off. If anything, this performance isn't Satch's best... He needs t get on the neck pickup and roll his tone volume off to get the faraway sound he gets so well with Midnight

Mute the strings with ur palm just after tapping (requires LOT of experience and practice...thats what he's doin) or shortcut...use a string dampener, like a hairband etc....
