I love this album too but the us unreleased version is a much better mix. Doesn't anyone care about high fidelity anymore???? i think a lot of *kids" like the beatles but they don't truly appreciate them. They listen to them on their ipods and don't take in the whole album. Its an experience not just a few songs. You have to listen to the record all the way through to totally get it all. I just don't think that an ipod or mp3 is a great way to discover the beatles.I was a little kid in the 80's and i grew up with lp's,tapes,cd's and even reel to reel tapes. I always prefered to sit on our 70's style green carpet and to listen to rubber soul and the the blue album on vinyl. There is something very magical about that. You can't get that from any of the newer mediums. Its the idea of discovering this great music and as an adult it becomes engrained in you. I hope that makes sense.

It is fantastic CD you must buy! If you want to experience LOVE better, buy the DVD version - Still audio, but in surround! I saw the Cirque du Soleil performance at the Mirage. Best show ever! I hope they release a video. KEEP YOUR FINGERS CROSSED!

Then, the sound came up and just got bigger and bigger and I remember my jaw literally dropping when the first chord of A Hard Day's Night was hit. It was just... Amazing. I have the vinyl, it never gets old. The part where it says "everyone knew her as nancy" skips. Lol It feels weird to hear rocky racoon without the skip. In my opinion the white album is the most progressive of all the Beatles records. Not the best, but the most ahead of its time.

A lot of Beatles purists rate this album as their best work..what do you all think? Id have to agree, I love it. The White album is a bit much to take in, I think if it was a single sided album it would possibly have been the greatest in history. Never got into Sgt.Pepper but can see the genius in it. Abbey Road was ruined my Spector I think, completely over produced. Amazing band tho, thank god for them. We'll never experience anything like them again

Magical Mystery tour is another example of a compilation album more or less that lacks a continuity althouth it does have some great music. For example Strawberry Fields Forever and Penny Lane which were part of the Sgt. Pepper Sessions and Originally released as singles. George Martin has said many times that he regrets that these were not part of Sgt. Pepper. Most of the actual songs from the movie are so-so (Flying, Walrus, Your Mother Should Know as examples)
