I really enjoy this game, however, the one problem I have is that the commands you are allowed to choose each turn sometimes seem random. I think they should have let you customize the command list for each union. If I union dedicated to healing, I'm probably never going to have them use comabt arts and such. Sometimes, the option to have them heal ins't even there when I'm in dire need of it, even with the right amount of AP.

I've got to say, I hate the battle system. Yet I love it. They need to make it so you can somhow influence it, because as it is, its like a poker game. You get a hand and you deal with it. There is no deep stratagy. I know that your health, enemy heath etc have a little to do with what choices you get but not always. Sometimes its straigh random Like when i can't choose to revive my teamates or heal myself, and i have to live with the fact im about to get rap*d like a dirty wh*re

Known them if theres no gun, No action, its w/e rating. I been playing JRPG for long time and i'v play rating rang from 3.0 up to 10 out of 10. I dont reget any of the game i buy. I love them an feel some game shoulda done better but over all. Ill pay whats worth my pick.

I don't think ign was in the wrong with their score. I think after playing enough of these recent jrpgs people's expectations start to drop and their standards are lowered. They even start to think that poorly told stories, with unbelievably idiot scripts, is entertaining. But if you ever go back and play a few ps1 and ps2 rpgs (like I often do) you will be hella pissed at these games square-enix is releasing.

IGN gave it a 5.3/10 because of the frame rate and texture pop-in issues, and honestly it's not that bad. I'm enjoying the game very much. the battle system is fun, creating your own team/union is fun to mess with.. etc. so basically if you can look past the frame rate and texture pop-ins, the game is pretty solid

i did and i know what you mean, but it's just the fact that there are a lot of stops to the game makes it not feel so smooth. dont get me wrong i like the game, its good i was just venting on that particular part of the game. the battle system is awesome! needs a little tweaks, but its all good. you think ff13 will have the same battle system? cuz it looks like it. im looking forward to ff versus 13.

games is good. too much loading time though, every door you open or switch to map screen load time here load time there slows the pace down by a lot. still a nice game, just not a game to play after playing GOW2 or some other fast past game becuase it's load time really just kills the gameplay.
