The story you told about him sounds like he let people mallide his designing style to please the audience. Yes, yes it does. You're screwed. Utterly and completely screwed. Body and soul. Screwed in dimensions that surpass understanding. Nah :P actually the Machine Gun is a pretty good weapon. I prefer it to the Spur personally for the sole reason of not having to charge up every shot. Being able to fly is a nice perk too.
