I just got him. It's a really great figure. The only problem is that the nost has a scratch, so part of it is white. Also, he's slightly mistransformed in the review. The cannons can be placed upright.

Ok. I would personally choose Blitzwing. You would get more out of him than two Megatrons. Also, he has his robot mode, tank mode and jet mode, and his face actually spins! But, I think Blitzwing kicks ass in the show, so maybe I'm biast. For me, it's Blitzwing.

How did several people all get this thing? Hasbro hasn't even officially revealed their ROTF toys yet. You should make sure that the upcoming toys you get weren't stolen. The toys look like tela tran one went to a junkyard and threw up some autobots, and decepticons!!!!!!!! A bunch of scrap metal junk. Not to mention the piss poor quality of the toys. I have seen better paint jobs on knock offs. This is what you get from mass producing toys for a stupid movie. My Evac figure has gobs of paint on him like someone just speckled it. UGH!!! I am sticking to the original, classics, binaltechs, and masterpiece. As far as animated, Why do they look anorexic??

I think the "toy" version of Soundwave fits!! Some forget that there is a 20 plus year difference in technology from the 1980's vs 2000's. The commentary was very well done and not so much opinionated. Good work!!

Yeah, I only had Seawing back when I was 9, but the cool thing about the Seacons was the versatility they had as combiners. If you haven't already, check out ilovemess, he's an Irish guy who has a lot of cool G1 and up transformer demos. Also, I recommend finding Dreamwave (DW) comics "More Than Meets The Eye" trade paperbacks. DW went out of business so you may have to check eBay. Good background info on almost every transformer and some of the best TF artwork I have ever seen.

I hate how hasbro never makes the paint schemes right! I just finished repainting my Classics galvatron to resemble his g1 blue version. Darker grey tank mode with a black wash, left the cannon completely alone, blue where the dark purple was black feet, dark grey shin guards and the super glue fix. why cant hasbro get these toys right? nice vid 5/5

Just picked this up today actually, along with Sideswipe. This is an all around awesome figure... if it weren't for such stupid things going against it. I paint my Gundams anyway, so I'm planning to just go in with a silver brush to his face. The other windows aren't too visible from the way I have him posed so I'm not all that worried about them. And the head thing, again, with the pose I can do without going in and sanding down to fix it. Still one of the better Classics yet.

While I applaud Hasbro for doing something with this toy it is a bit lame. This toy would be a million times better with just a few changes. The grille and brushgurard should be chromed. The blue face sucks! It needs paint! At least red paint. The toy seems so bland. I have mine disassembled right now and awaiting a repait maybe I will post it up when I finish it. Nice review though :O) Btw why does the license plate say Oregon?

it depends how many deceps or bots u got. for deceps, i'd get shockwave as first choice. but if you have the money to get shockwave, then you have the money to get bot blurr AND swindle. i personally like the swindle fig more than blurr but shockwave ftw!

Since the Masterpiece Prime and Starscream both have cockpit seats, I wonder if the Masterpiece Grimlock will too. In the cartoon, Grimlock didn't have a cockpit of course, but the original G1 Grimlock toy had one in his back. When I was a kid, I actually had a bunch of the tiny Diaclone pilot figures so I would put them inside all the Transformers that had cockpits. It's probably unlikely to happen, but it would be a nice nod to the G1 version if MP Grimlock had a cockpit too.

Go and get Prime first, cause prime can stand a lot more ruthness than starscream, drop starscream and all your money spent will be wasted thats why i recommend getting prime first. But he is a great figure overall though

I agree, though not so much because of the panels. I'm not fond of the Masterpiece's robot mode because of the proportions; mostly that the torso is too tall and the head is too small. The head's size I can see being somewhat hard to deal with, but I don't see why they had to design the torso like that.
