I don't have a list but lots and lots of people have either lost their YT account or been placed in fear of losing their accounts because the DMCA has been misused as a tool to stop them from posting ideas that someone does not like. themaskedanalyst has a ton of videos on the subject over a long period of time that explain it better than I can here.

Good video. You have pointed out a major reasons that people have been so abused by people filing false DMCAs against them and having their videos wrongfully removed. YT suspends you if you have three videos removed due to people filing false DMCA complaints against you. So, if you want to get rid of someone, just file three false DMCA complaints against their account and there is little they can do to defend themselves because the only defense is getting a lawyer to fight the false accusation.

Well, just listening to the first 4 minutes was painful enough and I had to stop. I am a photographer, and I am very familiar with copyright legalities involved in photos. You are FLAT WRONG that no court would hold VFX accountable for his actions. If I were to file copyright infringement without talking to a lawyer that would be MY FAULT! PT2: (sorry..character limit) Thunderfoots case had nothing to do with monetary value of his videos. It has to do with VenomfangX's False Claim of copyright infringement. VFX made false claims against Thunderfoot, and he has the right to take action. Though, i do have to agree with it being taken to far. When I was sued, I didn't try to settle with the plaintiff, at all, and the case was eventually scheduled for trial - four trial dates to be exact. Weeks before each trial date, the judge would decided to change the trial to a settlement conference instead, where he attempted to mediate a settlement. At each conference--(4), the case didn't settle. A lawyer friend told me that the courts didn't want to try the case. Wonder why? It was BS!

When you take a case like this to court, the judge usually wants to see that you have made a good faith effort to settle out of court. Had VenomFangX refused to acknowledge wrong doing or do anything to expiate his "sins" thunderf00t would have had a good case. But, since he did, I don't think a judge would have given thunderf00t any additional satisfaction. But, thunderf00t did a good job of punishing VenomFangX through the use of public scorn and ridicule. So, it was a win, just not a big one

There is a difference between "No win, no fee" and true "Pro bono publico". Some lawyers, will do it if they feel the law is not just, or for friends, family... getting the drift? I don't like the UK's Income tax rates. at £36,001 and higher(about $72,000 for America) you pay 40% of your earnings. 20% at £1-£36,000. At £40,000 a year you'd end up with £26,000 and at £35,000 a year you'd have £28,000 when income tax is applied. The person supposebly earning £5000 less a year gets £2000 more in the end.
